The Fountains Of Paradise

Umm Nurah

“The righteous will be amid gardens and springs. (They will be greeted), ‘Enter here in peace and security.’ And We shall remove from their hearts any lurking sense of injury. (They will be) brothers facing each other on thrones.” (Surah Al-Hijr, 15:45-47).

“Their thirst will be slaked with pure wine, sealed. The seal will be of musk. For this, let the competitors compete. With it (will be given) a mixture of Tasnem, (highest spring in Paradise), a spring from which those nearest to Allah drink.” (Surah Al-Mutaffifin 83:25-28).

“A fountain there, called Salsabil.” (Surah Al-Insan, 76:18)

“Therein will be a flowing spring.” (Surah Al-Ghashiyah, 88:12)

“In them (each garden) will be two springs, flowing freely.” (Surah Ar-Rahman, 55:50)

“As for the righteous, they shall drink from a cup in which is a mixture of kafur (cool and refreshing drink), a fountain from which the righteous servants of Allah drink, causing it to burst forth simply by their will.” (Surah Al-Insan 76:5-6).
