Dr.Tengku Intan Baizura

It is another sweet milestone! We are very delighted the Government has awarded my daughter-in-law,Dr.Tengku Intan Baizura a scholarship and that make her possible to pursue her studies.

Tengku Intan would undergo a three year specialist programme; Mastership of Clinical Dentistry (MClinDent) in Oral Surgery at UCL Eastman Dental Institute, a leading centre in the management of orofacial pain, cancer, and facial deformity in London.

This world-renowned three calendar year full-time programme of study is to acquire an understanding of applied clinical sciences and the concepts of oral and maxillofacial surgery, with practical experience in dentoalveolar surgery.

The programme includes the diagnosis, surgical treatment and research into conditions of the mouth, face, jaws and salivary glands.

The principles that underpin the teaching and learning approach for the MSc programmes are adopted for the MClinDent degree, but in addition the MClinDent programme provides: more time for graduates to consolidate and integrate academic and clinical knowledge and skills; a broader time to develop a research project and additional academic skills, laboratory work and clinical components. The programme also provides appropriate preparation for the Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery (MFDS).

It has always been the ambition of Tengku Intan to be a Surgical Dentistry rather Oral Surgical Specialist and serves her country and people. A huge congratulation to Ku In!
