Consequence of Arrogance

  Consequence of Arrogance

In the name of Allāh, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.
All the praise and thanks is due to Allāh. Peace and blessings be upon His Messenger.

 1. Narrated on the authority of Abdullah ibn Mas'ud that the Apostle of Allah (Sallallāhu 'alaihi wa sallam) , said:

"He who has in his heart the weight of a mustard seed of pride [arrogance] shall not enter Paradise."

[Sahih Muslim]

A person (amongst his hearers) said: Verily a person loves that his dress should be fine, and his shoes should be fine.

He (the Holy Prophet(Sallallāhu 'alaihi wa sallam) ) remarked:

"Verily, Allah is Graceful and He loves Grace. Arrogance is disdaining the truth (out of self-conceit) and contempt for the people."

[Sahih Muslim,  0164]

2. Narrated on the authority of 'Abdullah ibn Mas'ud that the Messenger of Allah
(Sallallāhu 'alaihi wa sallam) said:

"None shall enter the Fire (of Hell) who has in his heart the weight of a mustard seed of Iman and none shall enter Paradise who has in his heart the weight of a mustard seed of pride."

[Sahih Muslim 0165]

3. Narrated on the authority of
'Abdullah that the Apostle of Allah (Sallallāhu 'alaihi wa sallam) said:

He who as in his heart the weight of a mustard seed of pride shall not enter Paradise.

[Sahih Muslim 0166]

And Allāh Almighty Knows best.
